Left Hand Tarot

Denver has always been inspired by the imagery of the tarot. In this interpretation, Denver focuses on four basic shapes to depict 78 cards. Drawing on the minimalist as well as the abstract, Denver has distilled the life elements of the tarot into simple forms that vibrate between perfection and imperfection. Meant to highlight the relationship between the human and divine, shapes are made twice; first the “perfect” or “well-made” shape, then the loose-grip “broken” shape. Filling the spaces between intersections of these two gestures creates a shape that is closer to life and the mysteries of life’s forms. Each card is the result of a deep meditation on the essence of our fundamental shapes and how they build our reality.
